The location was great and the staff for the most part was good. The most disappointing concern was the extra charge for the use of internet. Respectfully the Schnells
Lack of internet service. The amount of cost for the room should cover the one euro cost for the internet use. Really, at this day and age a top rate hotel should/could provide internet service for their guests...please. I WILL RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL, HOWEVER I WILL STRESS THE POOR OPTION OF INTERNET SERVICE Respectfully, the Schnells
Location and service were excellent and met our needs.
Wifi service was pay per usage. Given the quality of the hotel, and the price, a free Wifi service should have been provided.
The hotel decor was charming and "charleureux" - nice tapestries. The staff was polite and efficient. Very good value for a 3 star hotel.
Shower was a bit small, doors did not close completely, sprayer did not stay in holder and had to be hand held. Tissue holder kept falling off the wall. I did not complain - small inconveniences.
Great female staff esp the lady who looked like carmella from the sopranos. Nice room with balcony. Excellent location.
Smallest lift in the world which was hilarious. Also the smallest shower. The sound insulation between rooms is pretty poor. Bring earplugs and/or drink a gallon of wine.
Room decoration style, the overall feeling good
The room is small, but the feeling is good
the Hotel Minerve staff was extremely rude and arrogant, never helpful. Hotel Minerve's customer service was one of the worst I've experienced in my travels
Everything was great, nice stuff, comfortable beds, good wifi. We loved the place, it's near to metro, there are many restaurants, nice and safe district
A little bit noisy in the morning
First, the location of the hotel was very good. The hotel was 5 minute walk from the Notre-Damus and it is located near to old-paris area so you could visit pantheon and Luxemburg garden on walk. You could also easily travel to most places like Eiffel tower, Arc, Sacre Coure etc (as they were not far by using metro). The room was clean and nicely decorated. The staff was co-operative and could understand English :) The vicinity of the hotel also felt safe and calm.
The room was a bit small. If you are staying for a small period (2-3 days) it is not a problem as you stay out of hotel mostly to visit places, but for a longer trip, it may not be the case.
Clean roms and good location
Breakfast is very poor and costly, lift is too tiny, coridors are tiny, no tea service.
Good location convenient for access to airport via RER and shops and tourist sites Good sized and comfortable room
Our room was at the back of the hotel looking onto a courtyard and overlooked by other rooms. It was also adjacent to the lift which was noisy
Location is good - rue des Ecoles, next to Sorbonne, walking distance to Notre Dame, metro is around the corner. Stuff speaks good English
Several rooms have a claustrophobic view. The elevator is tiny. Breakfast is poor. No water in the rooms - no minibar.
Super friendly and helpful staff, great location in city centre.
Nothing I disliked.
We were very impressed with staff and accomodations. Would stay there again and have already recommended to others.
The location is great, right in the heart of the Latin Quarter, near restaurants, sights and the Metro. The ambience in the hotel is charming and the staff are very helpful. This was my fourth stay and it is my hotel of choice in Paris.
It is ten minutes walk from Notre Damme, in the charming Quartier Latin. Very centric and well communicated. Our room was nice and cozy, very parisienne. Personnel in reception were very nice and helpful.
